Heading Towards a New Album Soon

This is my first blog post. Ever.

I'm looking forward to using this to basically do a brain dump of anything that needs to be aired. It's likely to become an eclectic collection of meanderings. Fair warning.

But for today, as it happens, I have finished mastering my first 5 song EP and I couldn't be happier. I just want to go eat a whole milk-bone dog biscuit to reward myself! But seriously, it's been incredibly hard work, and many all-nighters (many many) and a lot of lessons learned (the hard way).

Nonetheless it's gratifying and in my heart I have to believe that I gave my songs the best possible treatment I knew, and I'm not embarrassed at all to call them my own and put them out in the world. This has been what I've worked towards for the past five years (at least).

Of course, now comes the hard part. Like any kind of art, you just hope that someone out there will consume your work, enjoy it, and maybe even pass it along.

I'm settled on calling the album 'Cycles', and here is the album cover art that I created for the lead song 'Two of Us.'
